The pics were taken at The 8th International Ceramics Exposition and World Ceramics Purchasing Fair. It was held in Zibo, a city in Shandong Province, China from September 16 - 20, 2008. Like my previous blog, China is now a different place and new to us nowadays. Exhibitionist activities are on the rise in mainland China with the people having sex in the open and somehow sanctioned officially by the state. There is a legal case where the car is considered private sanctuary not unlike a home or hotel room. A couple was caught having sex in the car and apprehended. The judge threw out the case mentioning that whatever the couple did in the car is private and no laws ware broken. Hmm... this bodes well.In Malaysia, we have authorities barging into people's home, hotel rooms and condos trying to catch people in the act. Granted that they are only trying to catch those of the certain faith but in most cases they were left red faced. Remembered the case of the married foreign couple in Langkawi whose home was raided by the religious authorities. Despite the protests that they are legally married, none of the officials heed and took them both to the office for investigations. In the end, the whole thing was a debacle and ministers have to apologise on behalf. I personally have experienced such thing and they left me after satisfied that I am not of that faith and race. Guess this is why most activities have to be done in the dark with such zealots running around. Sigh.
